Oulu Advanced Research on Software and Information Systems (OASIS)

The OASIS research group studies how software and information systems can best serve people and organizations to perform knowledge work and other activities. In many cases the research is carried out by constructing new concepts and technology, and experimenting with it. A special emphasis is put in parallel on investigating both the usefulness and the ease of use of these systems.

OASIS has been selected as one of the research groups in the Martti Ahtisaari Institute of Global Business and Economics (MAIGBE) for the period 2013-2015.
